Robert Dagnas (Jean-Paul Dagnas, à qui nous devons la photo, nous précise qu'il s'agit de Marie Delage, du village de Montazeau sur la commune de Rochechouart) .</span></p> <p><span class="fr" style="font-size:14pt;"> Interrogée sur l'appel des bêtes (vaches, moutons, poules, porcs...) et le fait de <span class="oc">"tirar los sents"</span>, rituel consistant à désigner, au moyen de charbons les bonnes fontaines où les personnes venant la consulter doivent faire leurs dévotions (</span><span class="fr" style="font-size:14pt;">Les fontaines de Saint-Junien, Saint Victurnien, Sableronne, Rochechouart, le Grand Verneuil, Massignac etc...), les maux soignés par les dites fontaines, les visites des consultants,<span class="fr" style="font-size:14pt;"> les résultats obtenus,</span> le choix du bois pour les charbons ...<br /></span></p> <p><span class="fr" style="font-size:14pt;">Certainement un des premiers enregistrements de M. <p><span class="fr" style="font-size: medium;">Sur la bande 631, un enregistrement à l'Age sur la commune de Rochechouart . Nous entendons Mme Basset (que nous avons déjà rencontrée dans les enregistrements de M Dagnas) et un autre informateur, M. Soury (dont nous ne savons rien) qui interprètent des chansons en français et en limousin : Au jardin de mon père, Darrière chez nous, S'en va à la promenade,<span class="oc"> Chas nos m'an maridat,</span> De bon matin en m'y promenant, <span class="oc">De bon matin a la poncha dau jorn,</span> La triste vie des Marsouins, <span class="oc">La mair Marçauda</span>... et des airs à danser : Scottish, Valse, Mazurka, Bourrée, Rondes ...</span></p>
<p class="fr"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Président du groupe folklorique « Los velhadors de Sent-Junian », Robert Dagnas a parcouru durant les années 1950-1960 les routes du Limousin, armé de son magnétophone, à la recherche de chanteurs, conteurs et musiciens du pays. Il animait, grâce à ces enregistrements, une émission hebdomadaire à « Radio Limoges ». </span></p>
<p><span class="fr" style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ces bandes nous ont été confiées pour numérisation et diffusion par Françoise Étay, professeur responsable du département de musique traditionnelle au CRR de Limoges. </span><br /><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Elles ont été restaurées et numérisées par Fabrice San Juan.</span><br /></span></p>

<p><span class="fr" style="font-size: medium;">Cette première partie comprend des enregistrements effectués par Robert Dagnas auprès d'Angèle Chabeaudie au début des années 1960 (Bandes 567-568-569 et 462).<br /><br /></span><span class="fr" style="font-size: medium;">Président du groupe folklorique « Los velhadors de Sent-Junian », Robert Dagnas a parcouru durant les années 1950-1960 les routes du Limousin, armé de son magnétophone, à la recherche de chanteurs, conteurs et musiciens du pays. Il animait, grâce à ces enregistrements, une émission hebdomadaire à « Radio Limoges ». </span></p>
<p><span class="fr" style="font-size: medium;">Il eut ainsi l’occasion d’interroger et enregistrer à plusieurs reprises une voisine à lui, <span class="artist_name">Angèle Chabeaudie</span>, qui devint rapidement une vedette de son émission. Sa gentillesse, son humour et son remarquable répertoire de chansons ont ravi les oreilles des auditeurs et de nombreux Saint-Juniauds gardent encore en mémoire cette personnalité chaleureuse. </span></p>
<p><span class="fr" style="font-size: medium;">Cette femme, née au village de Montazeau (commune de Rochechouart) et qui vécut après son mariage au village de "Chez Sadry", sur la commune de Chaillac-sur-Vienne, a livré ainsi au micro durant les dernières années de sa vie de nombreuses chansons anciennes (profanes ou sacrés, en occitan et en français), dont certaines inconnues, et des témoignages étonnants (en occitan) sur les traditions populaires de sa région: cuisine, travaux des champs, dévotions… </span></p>
