Extrait d'un enregistrement réalisé le 2 Octobre 2015 par Baptiste Chrétien auprès de mme Odette Jeammet Odette Jeammet vint au monde en 1923 au Boscartus, village isolé de la commune de Cieux, aux pieds des Monts de Blond, au pays des mégalithes et de leurs légendes. Fille de paysan, elle épousa Guy Granet durant la Seconde guerre mondiale et ils tinrent durant 40 ans une auberge dans le bourg voisin de Javerdat (héritée des grands-parents de M. Granet). Bien qu'âgée de 92 ans, Mme Granet possède une excellente mémoire et nous parle, durant cet entretien effectué à son domicile en présence de sa fille, de son enfance, des processions, des souvenirs de l'auberge et de quelques personnages du bourg, de musiciens qui animaient les bals etc. L'entretien commença en français, puis se poursuivit majoritairement en occitan limousin, la langue maternelle de Mme Granet, qui passe allègrement d'une langue à l'autre au fil de l'entretien.
