Après avoir été pensionnaire à l'école privée Ozanam de Limoges, il s'est marié à Alice Legay, de la Chateneide, et y fut paysan toute sa vie. Bien que sa mémoire lui fasse parfois défaut, comme il le dit lui-même (il a notamment oublié les dictons et proverbes qu'il connaissait si bien), monsieur Noël fait ici l'effort de se remémorer pour nous quelques pratiques traditionnelles du temps jadis. Quelques comptines, dictons, rites calendaires .... Ce document a été réalisé par Baptiste Chrétien qui en a assuré le montage, le séquencement ... et nous l'a confié pour la mise à disposition sur la biaça.
